NJ CLIFTON — Clifton Zoning Board approves shopping center with supermarket, daycare, play area. The board voted 6-0 to approve Albi Properties' mixed-use renovation of 1030-1050 Route 46, which will operate a supermarket, daycare, and indoor amusement center for children. Applicant's planner Peter Steck presented the project with engineer Adam Kandil, reducing impervious coverage while requiring variances for indoor play areas and multiple commercial uses on a single lot.

The board conditioned approval on landscaping buffers near residential properties, a decorative trash enclosure, bollards around the outdoor play area, and directional signage for truck traffic.
